2020/12/27

We would like to make the following announcement and progress report.

LUNA SEA has announced that the LUNA SEA -RELOAD- Saitama Super Arena concert, originally scheduled for December 26 and 27, will be postponed due to the member Shinya (Drums) testing positive for COVID-19.
We would like to express our deepest apologies for the worry and inconvenience caused to the audience by this sudden announcement. We know all of you were looking forward to the performance.

On the morning of the performance, Shinya suddenly expressed that he was feeling ill. Before entering the venue, he underwent a PCR test for COVID-19. As result, a positive reaction was confirmed. He tested positive for COVID-19 and is currently under quarantine treatment, awaiting further instructions from the public health center and his medical institution.

In addition, PCR tests were immediately conducted on all members yesterday, except for Shinya who already tested positive. We are happy to report that all the other members tested negative as the result of this test.

We are currently working on the schedule for the replacement concert as well as refund information. We will make an announcement on the LUNA SEA official website as soon as details are determined.

The LUNA SEA -RELOAD- Saitama Super Arena concert was also scheduled to be streamed live on Streaming+ and ZAIKO. The streaming will also been postponed and the tickets will remain valid.

The members and staff will continue to take necessary measures to prevent further infections, and will make every possible effort to prepare for the replacement performance as fast as possible.
We kindly ask for your understanding in this matter.
